Tragedy strikes, innocence, unjust persecution
Before the collective, blind congregation
A soul soon to roam the void
Forever wandering the netherworld
Embers remain as your vessel is set ablaze
Descent into endlessness
Cleansed by flame, you are not to blame
Thy divine mast, flesh burnt to bone
Embers remain as your vessel is set ablaze
Cradled by flames
Dissentient Maiden
Your final breaths; wisped away
Condemned to suffer beyond your final day
Bewitched, blackened rose
Perpetual flames, within death throes
Sanctified, obsidian soul
Accept this fate, an eternity of dismal existence
Gazing upon the burning gates
Descend into damnation
Relinquish your torment
Release your final breath
Now with open arms: welcome, end
Maleficium
Succumb to the blaze
Godwilled Punishment
Surrender your final moment
As your body burns and infernal darkness
Stains your obsidian soul
Cradled by flames
Dissentient Maiden
Your final breaths; wisped away
Condemned to suffer beyond your final day
Bewitched, blackened rose
Perpetual flames, within death throes
Sanctified, obsidian soul
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
Unbelieveable how these guys grew so big so quick, you think? Think further I say and bang my head off to their crushingly heavy brand of symphonic deathcore. And they deliver this live as well and hopefully are going to wreck metal venues near you soon - and ruin your neck oc. They earned everything they got. mourner
